Pat
Flicker Addiss is a native NewYorker. She grew up in
Manhattan, four blocks away from the Virginia Theater.
Pat graduated from Finch with honors in Costume Design
and Merchandising. She left the world of acting, modelling,
fashion commentation and writing in favor of marriage
and children.... For 30 years, she ran a premium promotion
company Pat Addiss Enterprises Inc., creating and producing
promotional items for non profits and Fortune 500 Companies.
She gave the company to her daughter Wendy, so she could
pursue a career producing on Broadway. Little Women
fits her vision and criteria in every way. Pat has been
active in charity work and is currently on the TRU Board.She
credits her Mother for giving her the love of theatre
and art.....Pat and Heather bonded in the 14 week CTI
course and are now happily Addiss/Duke Associates.
Heather Duke, Nyack, NY resident, is the founder and
president of a 25 year old full service agency, Duke
Marketing, Inc., (public relations, publishing, advertising,
marketing) focusing on major special events, theatrical
productions and tourism promotion. Her recent projects
include "Speakeasy...and all that Jazz!"
a benefit held in a pre-Civil War factory
honoring Mandy Patinkin and Lorraine Bracco featuring
Ellen Burstyn's photography.
A former actress, Duke also produced Annie Reiner's
reading of "The New Living Room"
at the American Place Theatre with Joe Bologna and Renee
Taylor.
She produced the World Premiere of "A
Tale of Two Cities," a musical at
the Helen Hayes in Nyack and its Showcase in NYC.
Heather produces cabaret in Rockland County, develops
art and cultural sites and attractions such as the Helen
Hayes Performing Arts Center. She produced The Rockland
Center for the Arts 55th Anniversary Celebration featuring
New York Philomusica and honoring George Plimpton.
Other highlights:
Rockland's first International Dance and Music Festival,
a week-long ethnic festival featuring dancers from around
the world.
Co-established a grass roots organization to open the
Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center as a regional center
for the performing arts.
Produced many major fundraising events such as:
Helen Hayes' 80th, 90th and 92nd Birthday Parties in
Rockland.
Co-produced Miss Hayes' 86th and 87th birthday celebrations
at the Plaza and Algonquin Hotels. Others were Ellen
Burstyn in "A Mad Hatters Tea"
, Patricia Neal in Truman Capote's "A
Christmas Memory", Celebrity Softball
with "Mr. G", Fundraising auctions at Sardi's
with Len Cariou, and at the New York City Armory with
Faith Prince and "Peter and the Wolf"
with Ellen Burstyn, The Rockland Symphony and a 90 student
chorus.
Conceived, designed and coordinated an inaugural commemorative
publication for the opening of Nyack based theatre...
a limited edition of 1000 copies featuring never-before
published photographs of Miss Hayes.
For the Maxwell Anderson Centennial, she co-produced
"Memories of Max",
a video featuring Helen Hayes and Burgess Meredith.
She created and launched "Springfest
in Nyack", a juried crafts street
fair and secured funding for banners and street signage
to enhance villagescape.
As a District Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association,
she was responsible for fundraising and the Jerry Lewis
Telethon in Sullivan, Orange, Rockland and Westchester.
She closed the Bronx River Parkway to conduct "Bike
Sunday" event...still ongoing today.
She published a regional three-county newspaper "Seniors
Today" for 10 years, and a business
newsmagazine for the Rockland Business Association.

Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center.

Heather has three sons and is married to composer/lyricist
Robert Hoover.
She is grateful for the early inspiration from Mr. Fred
Madeo and more recently, Mr. Fred Vogel. Heather bonded
with her partner Pat Addiss at the Commercial Theatre
Institute 14 week course and looks forward to her first
"on-Broadway" above-the-title producing credit.
